This Third Party Risk position will be responsible for supporting the Stakeholder Relations Group Third Party Risk Officer (GTPO) to ensure consistent, effective and proactive Third Party Risk management across Stakeholder Relations (SR). This person may be responsible for working with SR business leaders, regulatory compliance leaders, other operational risk type leaders (e.g. Information Security, Technology, Business Process), enterprise Third Party Risk Management, independent risk management and Wells Fargo Audit Services to ensure that risks emanating from SR use of Third Party service providers are identified, reported, controlled, escalated and remediated or accepted consistent with SR’s risk appetite and established key risk metrics. This is an exciting opportunity for an Operational Risk professional to join the Stakeholder Relations (SR) Control Executive team and play a significant role in the newly established SR Risk Operations Control team. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player that has expertise in risk management, is a self-starter who is accustom to working in complex organizations with a diverse group of stakeholders, and someone who is able to withstand challenges and adapt accordingly. They will also have a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong credible relationships with key stakeholder groups including leaders within the SR Control team, enterprise, and across the SR organization to achieve success. Specific Responsibilities: Ensure adherence with enterprise Third Party Risk Management program requirements and other program/policy requirements that apply to Stakeholder Relations Third Parties Ensure Stakeholder Relations Third Parties are managed within Risk Appetite and Key Indicator metrics Monitor and report on Stakeholder Relations Third Party risk issues and corrective actions, assessing trends and themes for proactive risk management. Ensure adequate escalation and remediation of underlying causes in a timely manner. Facilitate Third Party risk acceptances, policy exception approvals, and related action plans Partner with Stakeholder Relations lines of business and Wells Fargo’s Supply Chain/Third Party Center of Excellence to ensure effective execution of enterprise Third Party Risk Management program requirements Ability to simplify the complex, communicate effectively and efficiently with senior leaders and provide executive presence.
6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
