Consultant, Risk Management Enterprise Software - Prevalent - Burlington, MA

The Consultant will work directly with customers to maximize the value they receive from Prevalent software platforms as measured in time to value, training retention, implementation of best practices and fit-for-purpose configuration. Further, the consultant will represent the voice of the customer to the broader Prevalent team while developing new service solutions and software features.
Duties of a Consultant: Configuration: Work with customers to define requirements for software configuration. Influence customer towards industry best practices and other program improvements. Implement and test configuration for achievement of original requirements. Facilitate timely configuration through good project management and communication practices. Training: Educate customers on software features and operation. Tailor standard training materials to meet customer specific configuration and user roles. Conduct formal training sessions as well as supporting ad hoc questions throughout the deployment process, Customer Management: Maintain relevant understanding of industry trends, best practices, regulations and emerging threats. Incorporate expertise into the onboarding and implementation process to develop report and trust with clients. Continuous Improvement: Obtain customer feedback on current software and service offerings. Apply lessons learned to help shape future offerings and stream line service processes. Qualifications and Experience: To be considered for this position, a bachelor’s degree and 2 to 5 years of enterprise software services, consulting, and/or information security experience is required. Experience deploying enterprise software and/or performing risk assessments is preferred. This person should have outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and follow-through is a must. Key Competencies and Skills: Professional Services or Consulting experience: Proven track record in enterprise software services, management consulting, or information security, with transformation or change management experience preferred Experience with the consulting or software sales cycle is a plus, including: Statement of Work development Requirements scoping Project planning and definition of deliverables Functional Knowledge: Demonstrable functional knowledge in the fields of Risk management and/or, Risk assessment and/or, Information security and/or, Vendor management Understanding and/or Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite Microsoft Project SharePoint College level coding classes or equivalent programming proficiency preferred Client site travel up to 20% may be required Location and travel: Offices are located in Burlington, MA; Tysons Corner, VA or Warren, NJ
