At a time when diversity is a key topic within the cybersecurity leadership and workforce, MK Palmore of the FBI says we also need a diversification of skills to help improve breach defense and response.

In a video interview with Information Security Media Group at RSA Conference 2019 in San Francisco, Palmore discusses:

  • The cybersecurity leadership challenge;
  • The diversity of skills now needed;
  • How leadership and diversity also apply to technology.

Palmore is assistant special agent in charge of the FBI's San Francisco Cyber Division. Previously, he served as a supervisory special agent in the FBI's Sacramento division. Prior to joining the FBI, he served as a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps.
