There are parts of the world where the pandemic is rampant – described by some as the “darkest days of the pandemic.” And even in the U.S., the struggle to administer vaccines fast enough to thwart the spread of COVID-19 variants continues, Phelps points out.

“I can say that, yes, things are better,” she says. “But there are a few things we’re going to have to jump over before I can actually say [the end is in sight].”

In her latest video interview with Information Security Media Group, Phelps discusses:

  • The race between vaccines and variants;
  • The latest research on returning to office environments;
  • How the COVID-19 experience changes the game for business continuity planning.
